It’s Drink & Draw time with our friends at Broken Frontier! We have Peony Gent, Chloe Elise Dennis, and Wallis Eates! The event will be Tuesday, October 24th.
Peony Gent is a recent graduate of the Edinburgh College of Art, and has done commissions for the likes of The Skinny and Impulse Magazine. She is currently studying Communications in London at the RCA. She was one of the It's Nice That Graduates of 2016 and Broken Frontier's Ones to Watch of 2016.
Chloe Elise Dennis is a NUA illustration graduate in London. Her recent work was the comic Every Hour is Saved, a comic adaptation of interviews between her and her Grandmother about growing up in India under British rule.
Wallis Eates earned her MA in Animation at the Royal College. She had worked as an art educator and facilitator, and manager of the children's film charity, Into Film. She is working on her graphic memoir 'Mumoirs' for Myriad. She also has self-published comics that include 'Fear of Mum-Death and the Shadow Men. She is currently workng with Unbound Books on a comic collection 'Like an Orange' about brain injury survivors.

The Drink and Draw will begin at Gosh! at 6.30pm with an opportunity to buy work from the featured artists at a discounted price before heading to the evening’s location of choice. All come to us from the far reaches of the world, so a unique opportunity to meet and chat with these creators. It’s Drink & Draw time with our friends at Broken Frontier! Hopefully everyone is feeling inspired by Safari Festival, so we've gathered some great artists to help channel that creative spirit! We have Sabrina Scott, Wai Wai Pang, and Zoe Taylor! The event will be Tuesday, August 29th.
Prior to his appearance at Safari Festival, cartoonist Charles Forsman will be here on Wednesday, 9th August from 7.30-9pm to talk about his career, his work with Bergen Street Press, and the upcoming Channel 4/Netflix show adapting his book, The End of the Fucking World. Also in attendance for a panel discussion will be TEOTFW tv show writer Charlie Covell and director Jonathan Entwhistle!

We've invited some of the great artists who will be exhibiting there to give you some intimate drawing time! We have Eleni Kalorkoti, Todd Oliver, Angela Pan, and Matthew Swan! The event will be Tuesday, June 20th!
Eleni Kalorkoti is an illustrator from Edinburgh, Scotland now living and working in London.. You can see her editorial work at The New Yorker, The New York Times, The V&A, Random House, Lucky Peach, and Buzzfeed.
Todd Oliver creator of the comic series Boxes. He'll be debuting issue 3 of Boxes at ELCAF. His work has appeared in Ammo Magazine, and the Versus Illustration Cards.
Angela Pan works in animation as a background painter. She makes short comics about life and dreams with traditional mediums, and tries to capture the world around her with her paintings and drawings. She is based in Vancouver, Canada.
Matthew Swan is an artist currently living in South London. His first published book is with Avery Hill, Parsley Girl. His new self-published work is Bat Girl: Potion Panic!
This event will be Tuesday, 20th June at Coach & Horses pub.
