Saturday the 29th of September between 1-2 pm we'll have Anders Nilsen, the writer and artist of Big Questions and Don't Go Where I Can't Follow, with us to sign his new series, Tongues.
Portland-based Anders Nilson has been a Gosh favourite for years for his emotionally scorching and beautifully illustrated work. He's the deserving winner multiple Ignatz awards (among other accolades) and we're pleased to announce he'll be with us for a signing of the second part of his most recent project.
"Loosely based on a trilogy by the ancient Greek playwright Aeschylus, of which two plays are lost and only dimly reconstructed by historians. Key to the story of Tongues is Prometheus’ role as creator and protector of humanity. In flashbacks and in Prometheus’ conversations with the eagle and others, the book will touch on humanity’s deep evolutionary past and its complicated prospects for a future. Tongues is both an adventure story and meditation on human nature in our present fraught historical moment."
Anders will be here from 1-2pm on Saturday 29th September to sign his work and have a chat, we hope to see you there!
Can't make it but would like something signed? Drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a reservation or mail order.
