It’s Drink & Draw time with our friends at Broken Frontier! We have Clio Isadora, Alex Potts, and Olivia Sullivan! The event will be Tuesday, January 23rd.
Clio Isadora is a London based illustrator. She has been featured in Style Bubble, Beware Magazine, and Printed.com. We carry her comics Damp Candy Mouldy Feels - the story of a casual relationship, and Damp Candy Dribble Kisses - about a future existential crisis in a nowhere town. Recently she was featured in Token Magazine.
Alex Potts recently launched his debut graphic novel, It's Cold in the River Night, at Gosh. The story of a couple living in a house on stilts. Their story spirals into a psychological drama, as the male protagonist is pushed to the edges of his sanity. Alex is an animator and illustrator working in London. Other comics collections of his include A Quiet Disaster, Hand and Underpants.
Olivia Sullivan is a comic book artist, illustrator, and experimental filmmaker. She has a BA in illustration from Camberwell College of Art, and is currently at Royal College of Arts getting her MA in Moving Image Design. She was one of Broken Frontiers 'Six to Watch' in 2017. Her most recent comic was SID, published by Good Comics, about a young unemployed man as he experiences delusions of paranoia. Previously she published I Drank Holy Water, a visual diary about being Catholic.
This event will be Tuesday, 23rd of January at Coach & Horses pub.
