We have missed Cain’s comic writing and have been eagerly awaiting her return post her fantastic run on Mockingbird and sadly with her wonderful looking take on Marvel’s Vision cancelled before even it got out the gates Man-Eaters is a precious and joyous slice of Cain’s genre thrill-ride writing.

FRIENDO #1 - We' are big fans of writer Alex Paknadel and Friendo form Vault comics might well be his best work to date. Stark and gripping sci-fi. Leo wasn't allowed toys as a kid, but now that he's all grown up he's going to take yours. He used to play by the rules, but then governments and corporations set fire to the rules and still expected him to behave. He probably would have if it hadn't been for his new friend Jerry. See, Jerry isn't human; he's a personalised marketing VR... and he's malfunctioning.

LOVECRAFT HC - In Providence, Rhode Island, a dangerous inmate disappears from a hospital for the insane. At Miskatonic University, a professor slumps into a five-year reverie. PASSING FOR HUMAN HC -A visually arresting graphic memoir about a young artist struggling against what's expected of her as a woman, and learning to accept her true self, from an acclaimed New Yorker cartoonist. In this achingly beautiful graphic memoir, Liana Finck goes in search of that thing she has lost - her shadow, she calls it, but we can also think of it as the "otherness" or "strangeness" that has defined her since birth, that part of her that has always felt as though she is living in exile from the world. In Passing for Human, Finck is on a quest for self-understanding and self-acceptance--and along the way, she seeks to answer some eternal questions: What makes us whole? What parts of ourselves do we hide or ignore or chase away - because they're embarrassing, or inconvenient, or just plain weird - and at what cost?

VIEWOTRON #1 - Sam Sharpe and Peach S. Goodrich return to their Eisner-nominated Viewotron with a new series from AdHouse Books! This issue features seven stories that elucidate the search for meaning in life in seven very different ways. That sounds heavy, but don't worry, it's funny. There are space aliens, friendly giants, and an old man who is a professional Boy Band namer. You'll enjoy it.

DEMENTIA 21 GN - Yukie Sakai is a sprightly young home health aide eager to help her elderly clients. But what seems like a simple, straightforward job quickly turns into a series of increasingly surreal and bizarre adventures that put Yukie's wits to the test! Shintaro Kago is well known for combining the traditional manga style with a hyper realistic illustration technique and an adventurous storytelling approach to create his own genre referred to as "fashionable paranoia." All of his trademark virtues (and vices) are on full display in these darkly comedic tales that strain the bounds of the imagination.
