The Gosh! Authority 10.05.17
Gosh! And Centrala are proud to present a signing with Søren Mosdal, creator of the beautiful Erik The Red: King of Winter graphic novel. Inspired by the real story of the colonisation of Greenland. Danish author Søren Mosdal is a master of the comics art form and we are very excited to have him with us Monday the 15th from 6-7pm. Drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you can’t make it but would like a signed copy reserved for you.
You might notice things look a little different around here. We’ve decided to to strip down and simplify things on the website, and have shifted to Squarespace for our hosting needs. Let us know what you think!
Almost a week removed from Free Comic Book Day and we think we’ve recovered (maybe!) As always it was a true highlight on the comics calendar for us. We just wanted to take a moment say a few thank yous. Firstly to our amazing creators who painted our windows and ran our excellent kids workshop. To all the writers and artists who joined us throughout the day for our huge range of signings, and of course to all of you lovely folks for coming out. Your enthusiasm, patience and humour make the day what it is for us. So thank you everyone and see you all again next year!
Head over to our Facebook page if you want to see all of the amazing photos from the day itself. (thanks as always to our simply phenomenal photographer Mauricio De Souza).
HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

In the middle of the night in 1997, Doctors Without Borders administrator Christophe André was kidnapped by armed men and taken away to an unknown destination in the Caucasus region. For three months, André was kept handcuffed in solitary confinement, with little to survive on and almost no contact with the outside world. Award-winning cartoonist Guy Delisle recounts André's harrowing experience in Hostage, a book that attests to the power of one man's determination in the face of a hopeless situation.

Writer: Cullen Bunn
Artist: Danny Luckert
Cullen Bunn’s horror book Harrow County is our favourite of the genre since Wytches. Now Bunn is looking to impress again with his new Image series Regression, with artist Danny Luckert. Adrian is plagued by ghastly waking nightmares. To understand and possibly treat these awful visions, Adrian reluctantly agrees to past life regression hypnotherapy. As his consciousness is cast back through time, Adrian witnesses a scene of horrific debauchery and diabolism. Waking, he is more unsettled than before, and with good reason—something has followed him back. Adrian descends into a world of occult conspiracy, mystery, reincarnation, and insanity from which there is no escape.
