We're ecstatic to have artist/writer/far too talented gent Declan Shalvey back in the store with us. Declan's going to be signing from 1 till 2 pm on Saturday the 27th January. Since we last played host to Mr Shalvey he has unleashed his frankly phenomenal OGN Savage Town on the world. Along with co-creator and artist Philip Barrett, the duo produced one of the most original, surprising and fun comics of last year. Do you like the films of Martin McDonagh (In Bruges in particular), miss Brubaker and Phillips Criminal, or simply can't wait for the next Stray Bullets issue? You HAVE to grab a copy of this to get Declan to scribble in, you'll love it.Read More
Okay, things have settled down a bit now and it's time to get back into the groove of normal, non-holiday life. Standard opening hours, standard delivery schedule, standard sardine-like commuting - all that great stuff. And what better way to start than by announcing our first signing event of the year? We're very excited to announce that Irish comics superstar Declan Shalvey will be here on Saturday 27th January, 1-2pm! Already an established artist on top titles like Injection, Declan is also proving to be an accomplished writer on projects such as Deadpool vs Old Man Logan and the excellent OGN Savage Town. Check here for more details and pop it in your calendars!Read More

Welcome back! Christmas is over and a New Year awaits. Of course the real question is: what comics are you going to be reading as the clock chimes midnight? Well, we might just be able to help you out there, but first a little housekeeping.
As mentioned last week, deliveries this week and next are pushed back to Thursday, and will be arriving on the day to go out. That means it's unlikely anything will be on the shelves at opening. We'd hope to have it all out by lunchtime, but keep an eye on our social media feeds where we'll announce it as soon as they're available.
Also, we'll be operating reduced hours on Sunday the 31st, from 10.30am - 3pm, and will be closed on Monday the 1st for some much-needed R&R.Read More
