Hello, and happy Easter!

This Saturday, 1-2pm, we welcome acclaimed cartoonist Adam De Souza in to sign his new book The Gulf, as well as copies of his amazing Blind Alley collections! Get the details here (and don't miss out!)

We've had word on the Easter delivery schedule, and as you might expect with the two bank holidays the delivery will be pushed back to next Thursday, arriving to go out the same day. Our deliveries have been reasonably timely lately, so hopefully everything should be on the shelves for lunchtime.

HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

• BATMAN DARK AGE #1 - The Superman Space Age team of Mark Russell and Michael & Laura Allred reteam for a Batman origin story. As you might expect from this team, it's a pretty fresh take on the character, introducing a young Bruce Wayne fighting against the decline of Gotham City. Expect versions of his rogue's gallery unlike any you've ever seen before (look out for Sergeant Ra's al Ghul taking Bruce through a tour in Vietnam in issue #2!)

• X-MEN 97 #1 - Hot on the heels of the well-received release of the new X-Men 97 cartoon on Disney+ comes a prelude series by Steve Foxe & Salvador Espin. Time to bridge the gap between the end of the original series in 1997 and the current run.

• FERALS #1 - Stray Dogs creators Tony Fleecs, Tone Rodriguez & Trish Forstner keep with the animal theme with this tale of kitty-cat survival horror. Three pampered housecats find themselves stranded outdoors during a rabies outbreak. Hunted and helpless, will they survive the journey home? Sounds good!

• SAM AND TWITCH CASE FILES #1 - Jon Goff, Todd McFarlane and Szymon Kudranski bring back the gritty Abbott and Costello of the Spawn universe. Expect grim and gloomy crime noir stories as the two detectives hit the mean streets of the Big Apple.

• GOON THEM THAT DON'T STAY DEAD #1 - Eric Powell's monster-bashing anti-hero is back for a new mini to celebrate his 25th anniversary. Powell writes and draws (hurrah!), introducing a new threat to the streets of Lonely Town.

• JACKPOT AND BLACK CAT #1 - Mary Jane and Felicia Hardy gets their masks on for this new series, with MJ coming to Felicia's aid after the Black Cat is blackmailed into comitting a crime spree. Writer Celeste Bronfman is joined by artist Emilio Laiso.
