Launching with a bang in 2016, Seven to Eternity quickly became one of our most anticipated monthly fixes. It’s epic fantasy through the typically subversive lens of Rick Remender‘s imagination, collaborating again with his Uncanny X-Force partner Jerome Opeña.
The God of Whispers has spread an omnipresent paranoia to every corner of the kingdom of Zhal; his spies hide in every hall spreading mistrust and fear. Adam Osidis, a dying knight from a disgraced house, must choose between joining a hopeless band of magic users in their desperate bid to free their world of the evil God, or accepting his promise to give Adam everything his heart desires.
With a unique, weird fantasy setting that would be at home in the pages of early issues of Heavy Metal, Remender and Opeña are crafting a great piece of smart entertainment, with a fun cast of characters chewing over complexities of moral responsibility and personal temptation. Not to mention plenty of beautifully rendered action.
Jerome has provided us with a suitably epic illustration for the bookplate, an edition of 200, printed at A6 on high quality card stock and signed by Rick Remender.
