Mooncop Launch Party with Tom Gauld

We’ll be hosting the launch party for one of our favourite artists, the Guardian cartoonist, Tom Gauld for his new graphic novel Mooncop! The event will be on Friday, September 9th from 7-9pm!

The hero: a cop on his daily beat… the beat: small lunar colony. But as the small town’s population dwindles –  a runaway girl, a missing dog, and a stray automaton – each day the Mooncop’s life becomes quieter and lonelier.

A melancholic science fiction story, as readers watch the slow abandonment of this small town, and our hero’s realisation of his uselessness. Tom creates a story that puts a lens to the strengths and faults of humanity.

We will also be launching with the book an exclusively designed bookplate. Limited to 250 copies – you can pre-order them here.
